Integrated Offender Management System (IOMS)
IOMS is the primary storage and maintenance system for Offender information. The system is available in offices, prisons and courts throughout the Department of Corrections and Ministry of Justice.
Some of the more significant tasks that Inov8 has been involved with are:
- Ongoing development and support of the IOMS-specific application framework.
- Migration (redevelopment and testing) of existing system functionality from VB6 to C#.
- Design, development and testing of new system functionality.

CashManager Rural Online upgrade
A database synchronisation solution for CRS' farm management software package. The solution provides data replication between 8,000 client installations using SQL Server Compact Edition to a single central SQL Server 2005 database. In order to offer this level of scalability, the architecture was designed to be fully SOA compliant and the database design and configuration has been optimised to handle large volumes of simultaneous transaction requests.
In addition, the project also consisted of delivering a fully functional e-Commerce site for the CRS farm management software. The e-Commerce solution integrates with Direct Payment Services (DPS) for the online payment module.

Vessel Security System
Maritime New Zealand’s (MNZ) responsibilities include maritime safety, security and marine environment protection.
As part of this role Maritime performs forward profiling of international vessels scheduled to enter New Zealand waters. All commercial freight and passenger vessels visiting New Zealand must comply with the International Ship and Port Security Code (ISPS) as well as international safety and environmental protection standards. MNZ must determine whether the vessel is compliant and whether it poses a security risk to New Zealand. This task is performed by MNZ staff situated in the Auckland Customs National Targeting Centre.
